As you are aware, we sponsor Cafe Art by donating an exhibition space at the London Photo Festival as part of their annual Photography Contest
On Friday 3 July they will be handing 100 single-use Fuji cameras out from the Crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral in the annual Cafe Art Photography Contest and they are looking for volunteers to help them and other volunteers from the London chapter of The Royal Photographic Society.
The handout is from 12 noon to 2pm, on 3 July. They are currently doing workshops with art groups run by homelessness sector charities and participants will come from all over London on the day. Participants have three days to take the photos before returning the camera to them to develop. Over the past two years they have raised more then £45,000 directly for the participants and art groups and to fund the framing of art by people affected by homelessness.
Cafe Art is still a small grass roots organisation, and rely on the support of their volunteers so if you are free on the 3rd, please contact Paul: firstname.lastname@example.org
