“The Girl caught my eye instantly. She was smiling at two boys who ran up and down the stairs of a double decker. Suddenly, her face changed. Her mesmerising gaze was lit up by a beautiful soft light.” This image is part of the photographer’s series “Londoners In Transit”.
Anja Filippini is a London-based street photographer with an avid interest in the genre of social documentary. She is currently working on documenting the welfare divide in East London.
We are on the look out for your Nature images! Show us your shots of landscapes, wildlife and plants – including any macro images such as texture in a stone, tree bark, leaf, or any of other small scenes.

The top 20 selected images will be exhibited on our website and at a central London location for three months . Out of the 20 selected, three will win:-
First Place: £250 cash prize
Second Place: £150 cash prize
Third Place: £100 cash prize

Welcome to our new free monthly photography competitions! Each month we will run a themed photography competition – we will firstly select our favourite images and then the winning image will be voted for by the public. You can enter here.
What does the winning photographer get? Fame and glory for a start! You will also be the Featured Photographer in our monthly newsletter (the month that follows the competition) and be included on our London Photo Gallery website where you will be given the opportunity to sell your image. Finalists will also receive recognition in our online gallery display and on all our social media channels via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our Blog.

Contest is open to all individuals 18 years and older, worldwide.
We are looking for reliable people to help during next month’s Festival:-
- Help to set up on 16 May from 18h00;
- A photographer for the Private View 17 May 18h00-20h00;
- A bar person for the Private View 17 May 18h00-20h00; and
- A photographer for the Click ‘n Clique evening 19 May 18h00-20h00;
We can offer you 50% off a space at the Festival (this will be refunded after you have volunteered!)
