We speak to Thomas Sweetman, 2nd runner up in our Nature #Photography Competition #Chiang Mai #Thailand

I took this photo in Chiang Mai Thailand. One evening I was passing the river banks and noticed a tiny bike bridge over the Ping River that connected two small villages. It was quite a sight watching the small bikes taking the bridge so I captured this aerial which really summed up the experience of man crossing nature while the river created patterns below and the traffic crossed over.

We speak to 2nd Runner Up Anja Filippini #London #photography #londonphotofestival

The London Photo Festival is extremely well-conducted and has a welcoming feel, all thanks to the founders who are very kind and accommodating. I especially liked the tasteful presentation of photographers’ work, and the simplicity of the venue itself. The high standard of this Festival is reflected in the quality of printing and framing as well. Being both affordable and well-visited, I believe it provides amateur as well as professional photographers with the perfect opportunity to get great exposure at low cost.

We’ll be joined by David Newton,  a professional photographer and filmmaker with a love for the outdoors, travel and natural world. He’s known for his versatility and ability to tackle most subjects with a minimum of fuss. He’s used by some of the biggest brands in the imaging industry (Canon, SanDisk, Manfrotto, Lastolite) as a brand ambassador because of his imagery and because of his ability to teach and present to audiences.  You can see more of David’s work here.
